(Full enrolment information at the bottom of this page – scroll down)
This course is the course I wish I’d had when I started ICM.
I don’t hold back – sharing how to move for different subjects. How to use light, what gear I use and my experiences of different cameras, lenses, iphone and more… I’m an advanced photoshop user and share with you how to edit not just to ‘correct’ but CREATE because that’s what this is all about. You even get my images to download so you can follow along with me in the editing section!
The course includes more than four and a half hours of recorded material including two and a quarter hour of presentations:
- Core ICM Movements – 50 minutes
- The Magic of Light
- Double and Multiple Exposures – the crosshatch effect
- Intention, planning and place
- Editing theory
Another 2 hours and 20 minutes of recorded content with short tutorials covering more specific nuances of movement taking you through the simple movements of panning up and down trees and across the horizon to more advanced techniques moving with your subjects in motion.
There are six specific exercise sections to guide you getting started with instruction and ideas to set you up for success.
And many more pages of written content including gear (and phones) and troubleshooting when it’s not going as you expect.
And probably the most valuable section – ASSIGNMENTS AND FEEDBACK
THREE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS you submit for personal feedback. This is not a ‘critique’ the idea is I have an opportunity to support you in your artistic creativity by feeding back tips and ideas based on your creative vision.
How It Works!
This course runs in real time.
From the day you enrol you have four months to work through the material and complete your assignments. This is so I can manage time effectively providing feedback and supporting all students enrolled.
What happens if I get stuck?
If you have a technical problem with the course running, you can contact us via email for support.
If you need more photographic support outside of the feedback assignments, all clients enrolled on this course receive 15% off one-to-one sessions on Zoom – this can be for ICM or Photoshop learning. Your discount lasts for a year from the day you enrolled. A code will be emailed to you.
Will I still have access to the course material after four months?
Yes!
I will update this course and add new material – thoughts and images so you’ll be able to check back and stay connected. It is my hope and plan to build a community of like-minded folks where we can share and grow together.
Please note however, after your four-month enrolment, I reserve the right to withdraw access where I believe someone is copying my material or using it for their own teaching purposes.
