Thought I’d start journalling publicly my creative ramblings on the off chance they help you on your creative journey… The video is below on how to get creative with ICM and trees…
So… went to the Forest this morning – grey flat light — nearly didn’t take the camera at all but thankfully hung it around my neck just on the off chance…
I just love it when the unexpected happens.
We did and…
We were only a short distance down the track when the sun came out and WOW…
This is one of the reasons I just LOVE forestry and woodland. Just look at how the light was coming through the tree canopy.
The long exposure and ICM intensify the colour and effect (and the dogs look like they ate Ready Brek)
It started me off thinking about the power of nature to be so much more than ‘just’ a subject or ‘just’ light…
The trees were so much more than ‘a subject’ they co-creators, filtering light, and then the breeze too collaborated with the creativity… rustling at the leaves, shifting the tree canopy….
Here’s the little presentation I put together thinking about this for ICM and any other photography creations honestly, because even if you didn’t move, even just on a steady long exposure – you’d have got some interesting effects …
