All the images here are available to view in larger sizes in the gallery videos :). All my work is printed on fine art paper. Most, unless specifically stated, is on 100% cotton Artsure paper. The only time I use something different, a high quality lustre is my other favourite paper, is when the image benefits from the different paper for tonal range or textural possibilities.
The ‘greeting cards’ are A5 and are intended to double as a gift. They are created on the same paper as all the other prints. The acid free paper is more important than you might think as it holds the quality and colour for decades where other papers will yellow, fade and often crack. Combined with Clavia inks tested by Wilhelm Laboratories with c 80 years longevity when framed behind glass. The combination of the paper quality and these inks creates a print designed to last the test of time. Pigment ink prints for museum grade archival are available on my other printer; prices on application.
The greetings cards are a gift in themselves, I mention this on the back of each card – put me in a frame and keep me forever.
Please note, I don’t crop my images to fit them onto a paper size so there will be varied print set ups based on each image.
Please also be aware I print and pack the work myself to order, this is a personal service. Please allow up to ten days from order to delivery. Orders are sent out by Royal Mail usually tracked. The White Buck, a myth… a legend in New Forest folklore and across mythology. See the White Buck and you will never be the same again, a moment of transformation and change so the ancient Celtic and other stories go.
I was amazed as I turned to see not one but three white bucks and at least 20 others appear on a busy area of the Forest late one July evening. This is one of my ‘landscapes reimagined’ real places and moments re-imagined.

The Bridge at Blackwater, Rhinefield Ornamental Drive, Brockenhurst. I was astonished at the beauty of the early spring morning. After weeks of torrential rain suddenly the birds were singing, the river running fast was no longer bursting it’s banks and the place was filled with the glorious glow of spring just around the corner as the light filtered down through the trees. Notice this is not the same as the Autumn version of this image further down the page! 🙂

Lymington Marina one drizzly wet morning revealed itself with such surprising beauty that morning, the straight filtered light through the low clouds making the colours around the harbour and reflections on the water the star of the show that morning. I got soaked standing there mesmerised by it thinking how much beauty in what I’d previously have dismissed as a dismal day…..

I’m often asked if this was a ‘real’ moment, and yes it was. Even the rook. In fact, there were several of them flying around this lovely palomino golden New Forest pony as she waded out into Hinchelsea Bog on a winters afternoon. As she gazed out into the sunset at the other end of Horseshoe Bottom I found myself wondering if she was ‘feeling’ that that sense of peaceful pleasure at the beauty of it. A beautiful New Forest pony so fitting to capture her as the sun came down… I’m always so grateful for such moments.

The Swans of Beaulieu, this was a couple of years ago I was just wandering through the village one very cold winters morning, the light bright and filtering down in strange beams as if there were a torch from up above… The Swans who’d decided I was rather boring and had no food had landed back in the Beaulieu River at high tide that morning, and proceeded to give me a demonstration of what I think looks like swan synchronised swimming. It was the same morning I created the imagery for the Mill Pond in Purple Skies a little further down the page.

Brownhills Inclosure near the Rising Sun Pub at Bashley if you know it. Another one of those serendipity moments. I’d slipped through the gate not planning on going far, just intending to linger and enjoy a quiet spot in the midst of the summer where the Forest is full and busy… I looked to my left and noticed how fast the fern was dying off after weeks of no rain and then, oh my goodness, the beams of light forcing their way down through the trees. If you’re interested, this is created ‘in camera’ synchronising my movement with the movement of the trees to paint the colours with my camera.

Low tide at Mudeford Quay one winters evening when a little crowd gathers to watch the stunning moments leading up to sunset. Who needs telly!! Honestly, it’s breathtaking. This evening I was sat on a bench watching the world go by and this sailor was out on the water in a very low tide when the sand below creates incredible reflections at this time in the evening… This was early in the year 2026 and featured in Amateur Photographer online at Easter along with some of the others.

I call this my magical tree in Wilverley because it stands there so quiet and unassuming just a short distance along the path into the Inclosure from the Plain car park… It’s so easily walked past and looks so different through the seasons I think of it as my magical tree and always love to see what colours it will be dressed in today…

The crack of dawn. I’d never really registered what that ‘means’ so visually before. This is Lymington Harbour again. I return to the same places over and over to see how they change through the year and just look at the colours of winter, the divine pinks and the gold ‘crack’ of that moment as drawn breaks the horizon shimmering pink on the water.

Spring time and fresh lush greens start to shimmer in the woods of The Ornamental Drive, Brockenhurst. This lovely fir tree is evergreen but caught my eye as I wandered and realised how the greens are so much more vibrant as the spring starts to shift the light, a little shimmer of morning dew adding to that magical feel and effect. This tree is along the roadside of The Tall Trees Walk…

The Mill Pond, Beaulieu the same day I photographed the Swans of Beaulieu River above. I’m always amazed by purple skies… apparently a phenomenon mostly seem near water and at particular times of the year as the atmosphere and the tides meet and of course the Beaulieu River is tidal…

The Cobbles at Lymington. If you’re as old as me you and in the UK you might remember the episode of Worzel Gummidge where Worzel pushed Aunt Sally up this little cobbled street in a wheelbarrow I seem to recall. The beautiful light shimmers up the street on a winters afternoon, the cobbles shimmering after a good downpour. I never get bored of this place, it will always feel a little magical, as if time has stood still… This is printed portrait on A4 and A5 gift cards only so please don’t order A3 it doesn’t lend itself to an A3 print and I don’t print anything that doesn’t really ‘work’…

Just a fun capture of my favourite Forester, the little pony who wandered across Horseshoe Bottom to me and just laid down a little distance away, laid flat out and gazed at me through the heather for a very long time… A lifetime with horses and training as an equine behaviourist had taught me the science, this little pony showed me the power of just noticing one another, saying ‘I see you.’ I just happened to be wandering by last year with a camera in my hand when she was having what looked like a very luxurious yawning session, you know that feeling when you just get all the stress out…
I am adding new images each week. All my work new and old is available as prints. I print everything myself, setting it up by hand on fine art paper, mainly Artsure 100% cotton unless an image needs a lustre or something similar… If you see an image you like that’s not listed in the shop yet please get in touch I can set it up for you.
If you are outside the UK and like my work and would like a postage quote please send me an email. I’m an artist not a huge company this is a personal service.
